 Old vines along with bony gravel soils combine to produce low yielding fruit with amazing concentration. We’ve added another block of old vine fruit from 30kms north with similar soils along with a different aspect creates concentrated fruit with slightly different characters. Both vineyards together create our intense, soft and rich old vine wine. The attractive and lifted aromas of forest fruits and raspberry are well complemented with dark chocolate and liquorice. Maturation in fine French Oak adds cedar and spice. The palate is dense and rich with flavours of plum, dark chocolate and dark ripe cherry. Aged vines create a complex and balanced wine with subtle fine tannins leading to a warm lingering finish.
