The nose shows fruity and mellow aromas of cranberries, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries, coupled with chocolate characters. The palate refreshingly opens with sumptuous plum flavours as well as a lovely red berry fruit burst dominated by cranberries. A long length of flavour follows through to a soft, creamy and off-dry finish. Best when served just below room temperature, this Merlot is a wine of prominent delicacy with light acidity. This exquisite red wine tastes great with foods such as roast chicken with thyme and onions, slow-cooked beef stew, veal chops with mushrooms, and roasted pork loins.
